Iran’s Maneuverable-Missile Push Escalates Regional Tension After MoU Collapse

ISW-CTP’s Iran Update warns Iran is deploying high-speed, maneuverable ballistic missiles against US bases as it abandons the US–Iran MoU following diverging interpretations of the Strait of Hormuz clause. In the last 24 hours, Iran attacked a US base in Jordan (two service members killed, one missing) and struck targets in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, with US strikes hitting infrastructure around Bandar Abbas.
