USS Lincoln Heads Home Amid Sailors’ Welfare Concerns
TL;DR
The USS Abraham Lincoln is heading home after a record-length Middle East deployment and is slated for a Thailand port call in early September; families have raised concerns about crew welfare, including mental health and meals, while the Navy declines to disclose future ship movements for security. A USA TODAY analysis suggests a return to San Diego within four to five weeks, with a likely move to Bremerton, Washington after arrival.
