"Biden Defies Trump, Keeps US Space Command in Colorado"
TL;DR
President Joe Biden has decided to keep the headquarters of US Space Command in Colorado, reversing a previous decision made by former President Donald Trump. The Air Force had recommended moving the command to Huntsville, Alabama, but Gen. James Dickinson, the head of Space Command, argued that the headquarters should remain in Colorado due to operational readiness concerns. Biden ultimately followed Dickinson's advice, citing the impact on military readiness and quality of life for servicemembers and their families. The decision has sparked outrage among Alabama's congressional delegation, who had advocated for the move to Huntsville.
