New Hampshire primary fight delayed by Democrats.

The Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws Committee has given New Hampshire until September 1 to comply with the national party's requirements to move its primary behind South Carolina's in early February or get kicked out of the official early state window for 2024. President Joe Biden pushed for changes to the party's presidential nominating calendar for 2024 that stripped New Hampshire of its prized first-in-the-nation primary in an effort to reward South Carolina, which propelled him to the nomination in 2020. Democrats were buying themselves more time to decide whether and how they're going to sanction New Hampshire Democrats if the state goes rogue and holds the first primary, anyway.
