Poll: Gas-Price Blame Lays at Trump's Feet as Iran Tensions Persist

Quinnipiac's national poll finds 65% of voters blame Trump for the recent rise in gasoline prices linked to U.S.-Iran tensions, while 34% assign little or no blame. Trump’s overall job approval stands at 38% (55% disapprove), with similar splits across parties. 36% approve of his handling on Iran, and 40% support while 53% oppose U.S. military action against Iran. A notable 64% say his threat about a 'whole civilization' was unacceptable, and 68% expect any military action to last months or longer. The survey of 1,028 registered voters has a margin of error of ±3.8 points.
