Instagram has lifted its ban on anti-vaccine activist Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has launched a presidential bid, two years after it shut down his account for breaking its rules related to Covid-19. Kennedy has a long history of spreading vaccine misinformation and false claims about vaccine links to autism. His return to Instagram will give him access to his more than 769,000 followers. The decision comes amid a flurry of activity between the candidate and Silicon Valley, including Twitter founder Jack Dorsey appearing to endorse Kennedy for president.
