Sen. JD Vance Endorses Bernie Moreno in Ohio's 2024 Senate GOP Primary

Ohio Senator JD Vance has endorsed Cleveland businessman Bernie Moreno in the 2024 Republican US Senate primary election, nine months before the election. Vance hopes to prevent a repeat of the 2022 election, which saw six major candidates enter the race, spending millions of dollars each in a nasty and historically expensive Republican primary election. Moreno is one of two candidates who have declared to run for the seat currently held by Democratic Senator Sherrod Brown. The race in Ohio next year is expected to be one of the most hotly contested US Senate contests in the country.
