SpaceX's Starship Launch: From Excitement to Explosion.

Elon Musk congratulated SpaceX on an "exciting" launch of Starship, despite the rocket exploding nearly three minutes after liftoff. Musk had given the launch a 50% chance of success, guaranteeing "excitement." The failure occurred when Starship and its Super Heavy booster failed to separate from each other at a critical moment of the flight, then tumbled through the air and exploded into a huge fireball. Musk said the launch provided useful information for the next test launch in a few months. Starship is the biggest and most powerful rocket ever built, with the capacity to carry up to 150 metric tonnes to space, and is intended to make spaceflight cheap enough to establish a permanent human settlement on Mars.
