Search for Missing Cruise Passengers Suspended by Coast Guard near Hawaii

The US Coast Guard has called off the search for Warwick Tollemache, a 35-year-old Australian man who went overboard off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship near Hawaii. Tollemache plunged into the ocean about 500 miles south of Kailua Kona, Big Island shortly after 11 p.m. local time Tuesday. The cruise ship remained at the location where he went overboard for about two hours as crews searched for the missing passenger before turning the search over to local authorities and resuming course. Tollemache's family members remembered him as a "gentle soul."
