Central Florida Braces for Severe Storms and Hail

Central Florida is at risk of experiencing potentially strong storms with a 60% chance of rain and a risk of severe weather, including lightning, strong wind, hail, and heavy rain. Temperatures will reach the low 90s, with rain chances remaining between 40% and 50% for the end of the week. The rip current risk along Central Florida beaches remains high due to Hurricane Lee. Additionally, two areas of low pressure in the eastern tropical Atlantic may merge and develop into a tropical depression with a 70% chance of formation within the next seven days.
