Central US Braces for Severe Storms and Tornado Threat

A cross-country storm is expected to bring severe weather, including the threat of long-track tornadoes, to areas already affected by last week's deadly tornado outbreak. As of Thursday morning, 27 states and nearly 30 million people were on alert for heavy snow, strong winds, or flooding from California to Wisconsin.
