Denver Braces for Weekend Snow and Cold Temperatures

Snow showers are expected to hit the Denver metro area and Front Range this weekend, with a few inches of snow possible on Friday night into early Saturday. The snow will first develop as rain on Colorado's eastern plains before changing to snow in the evening. While the snow will be light in most areas, some heavier snow showers could create more uncertainty about amounts. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for portions of the northern mountains, with heavier snow expected in Colorado's western mountains. There will be more chances for snow showers and colder temperatures for both Saturday and Sunday.
