Easter Weekend Weather: Rain, Snow, and High Winds Forecast for Arizona

Arizona is expected to experience warm and windy weather on Friday and Saturday before a strong cold front brings significant rain and snow on Sunday, continuing into Monday night. Valley locations could see around 1/3 of an inch of precipitation, with localized areas potentially receiving more. Higher elevations may receive 4-8 inches of snow above 6,000 feet. The National Weather Service is likely to issue a winter weather alert. Interestingly, it hasn't rained on Easter Sunday in Phoenix since 1999.
