Hailstorm wreaks havoc in Twin Cities, causing chaos and damage

Severe thunderstorms brought high winds and damaging hail, ranging from quarter to baseball-sized, to central Minnesota and the Twin Cities area on Friday. Hail as large as tennis balls was reported in parts of Minneapolis, with numerous reports of golf ball-sized hail and larger stones. Some areas experienced damage to property, including siding. Saturday's weather is expected to be calmer with temperatures in the 70s and 80s across Minnesota.
