Heavy Rain and Small Hail Expected in Lake Tahoe on Monday.

Northern California will experience heavy rain and hail in the Sierra on Monday, with a window for thunderstorms opening up after noon, especially by 4 p.m. The Valley will be partly sunny with cooler temperatures ranging from 84 to 88 degrees. A system will linger across the area this week, keeping things active over the mountains and dropping temperatures through the week. The National Weather Service warned of 40 mph winds and half-inch-sized possible hail for certain areas until 3:15 p.m.
