Impending Snowstorm Threatens Flooding and Windy Conditions

A storm system developing on December 10th is expected to bring heavy rainfall and a changeover to slushy snow in the Baltimore area. A Flood Watch has been issued for metro Baltimore and the coast. Temperatures will remain above freezing, making stickage challenging, but a coating of snow is likely on grassy areas. Colder suburbs may experience heavier snow bursts that could coat roads and lead to school delays. The storm will be accompanied by gusty winds.
