Impending Snowstorm: Winter Weather Alerts and Potential Icy Roads

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Ashtabula and Geauga Counties in Ohio, with the possibility of moderate to heavy snowfall. Lake effect snow and lake enhanced snow are expected to set up Monday night into Tuesday morning, with areas from Lorain to Cleveland potentially receiving 1 to 2 inches of snow and some snow belt areas getting 3 to 6 inches. Cleveland has had below-normal snowfall this season, but could see a couple of inches of snow on Monday night. Temperatures will drop, with about 36 hours in the 30s before rising back into the 40s.
