Indiana Braces for More Storms as Thousands Remain Without Power

Tens of thousands of residents in central and southern Indiana are still without power as more thunderstorms are expected throughout Saturday. The areas most at risk for severe weather are southwest of Indianapolis, with the Indiana-Illinois border to the Seymour area being particularly vulnerable. Indianapolis and Marion County have over 24,000 customers without power, while Bloomington and Monroe County have around 9,000 customers affected. Terre Haute and Vigo County are experiencing over 35,000 power outages. Restoration efforts are underway, with crews making progress despite storms overnight.
