Minnesota Weather: Thunderstorm Chances Shift South on Hot and Muggy Monday

A Canadian cold front will bring scattered showers and thunderstorms to mainly the northern third of Minnesota on Sunday evening and overnight. The risk of severe weather is marginal. On Monday, the front will continue to move southward, bringing the best chance of showers and thunderstorms to the southern half of Minnesota and parts of Wisconsin. The risk of severe weather shifts to the southern third of Minnesota, including the Twin Cities metro area. After Monday evening, the next chance of thunderstorms will be Tuesday night into early Wednesday.
