"Northeast Snowstorm: New York and New Jersey Bracing for Winter Weather"
TL;DR
A late-season storm is expected to bring snow to portions of the Tri-State area, with the Catskills region possibly seeing up to 10 inches and Winter Weather Advisories issued. Other areas in the Hudson Valley and northwestern New Jersey could see a coating to 4 inches, mostly in higher elevations. Even New York City may see a few flakes late Thursday night. This unusual April snowfall comes after a winter of low snowfall, with some years seeing more than the usual 0.4 inches of snow for the month.
