Severe storms and hail threaten Texas and Florida, unsettled conditions in Houston.

Parts of Texas and Florida are under threat of severe weather, including potentially damaging, giant hail and tornadoes. North-central Texas is under an enhanced threat for severe storms as a powerful storm system moves across the South. A separate storm system is expected to bring severe weather to a large swath of Florida, with the rare threat of huge hail possible. Damaging winds are also expected in both states.
