Severe Storms Expected Monday: Stay Alert!

A NEXT Weather Alert has been issued for potentially severe storms in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, with hail being the main threat followed by wind and a slim chance of tornadoes. Storms are expected to develop from 3 p.m. and be most active between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Rain totals are predicted to be less than a tenth of an inch, and the storms should clear out by Tuesday morning. Cooler temperatures are expected for the rest of the week, with a chance of hit-and-miss storms from Wednesday to Friday.
