Severe weather outbreak continues with rare tornado threat in the South.

Tornado watches have been issued in southeast Alabama, southwest Georgia, and the Florida Panhandle as severe weather continues to slam the South, with Kansas and Oklahoma in the bull's-eye. The storms bring extreme winds, huge hail, and a few tornadoes. Meanwhile, dangerous, triple-digit heat is also baking the South, with record-high temperatures possible in Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, and New Orleans.
