"Strong Storm Brings Heavy Rain and Snow to Northern California"

Northern California will experience steady rain throughout the morning, turning into on-and-off showers by the early afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are possible through the evening, with the window for storms between noon and 8 p.m. Snow levels will be around 4,000 feet, with light snowfall expected. Winds will be breezy to gusty on occasion this afternoon, with gusts in the 30 to 35 mph range. After midnight on Tuesday, there’s still a chance for showers into Wednesday. Northern California will get a chance to dry out from Thursday and into the rest of the week.
