"Sunshine Returns: Unusually Warm Spell Promises Bright Weekend for Metro Detroit and West Michigan"
TL;DR
Michigan experienced an exceptionally cloudy January, with the National Weather Service reporting only 8% of total possible sunshine in Grand Rapids, making it the second cloudiest January on record. Other cities in Michigan also saw minimal sunshine, with Muskegon having no sunny or partly sunny days, and Detroit, Flint, and Saginaw experiencing mostly cloudy conditions. However, a warm spell with mostly sunny skies is expected to bring relief to those craving sunshine in the coming days.
