Tornado Watch Sweeps Across Michigan, Urgent Alert for Multiple Counties

A tornado watch has been issued for several counties in Southeast Michigan, including Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Monroe, Livingston, and Lenawee, until 3 a.m. Thursday. Multiple tornadoes have been confirmed in the Chicago area and are heading east towards Michigan. While the main threat is heavy rain and flooding, strong wind gusts over 60 mph and isolated tornadoes are still possible. The severe weather is expected to occur between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m., with heavy rain continuing past midnight but ending before the morning commute.
