"Tracking Tuesday's Snowfall: New England's Winter Weather Advisory and Snowfall Maps"

The National Weather Service predicts light snow developing late Tuesday afternoon into evening, with snow accumulations expected to be between 1 and 2 inches across Massachusetts, and up to 3 inches on the western half of the Interstate-91 corridor. Pockets of freezing rain are expected in western and central Massachusetts, as well as in parts of Connecticut, with a winter weather advisory in effect for areas with higher elevation from Tuesday evening through Wednesday. Additionally, there's a potential for temperatures to rise above 50 degrees on Friday for much of the state.
