Weather Whiplash: Denver Goes from Record Heat to Rain and Snow in One Week

Denver's record-setting temperatures in the 80s will cool slightly on Thursday with a high fire danger due to wind gusts up to 40 mph and low humidity. On Friday, temperatures will fall into the 50s with scattered rain and snow showers, with up to an inch or two of accumulation possible in areas west and south of metro Denver. The weekend will be dry with temperatures in the upper 50s and 60s, while next week will start off with temperatures in the 70s and a chance of isolated showers on Wednesday.
