Weekend Weather Update: Storms and Showers Across Multiple States

Severe storms are expected to hit Kansas later today, with the primary threat being golf ball-sized hail and damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph. There is also a chance of isolated tornadoes, but the greater threat is across Oklahoma and areas near the Kansas-Oklahoma state line. Heavy rain and localized flooding are also a concern for areas that received heavy rain and flooding on Friday night. The storms are expected to congeal into a complex of storms that will move eastward overnight across southern Kansas. Father's Day looks nice with sunshine and slightly lower humidity.
