"Winter Storm Alert: Lake-Effect Snow Expected to Blanket Buffalo and Rochester Regions"

The National Weather Service has issued a lake effect snow warning for parts of western New York, with 1 to 3 feet of snow expected in some areas from Tuesday through Thursday. Rochester may see a few inches of snow, but the heaviest snowfall is expected to impact areas east and northeast of Lakes Erie and Ontario.
