Winter Weather Alert: Snow, Wind, and Hazardous Conditions Expected

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for several Northeast Ohio counties, including Cleveland, with rain turning into snow in the afternoon and accumulating 1-3 inches by mid-evening. Lake effect snow will continue overnight, adding 2-4 inches in the Snowbelt region. Snowfall will end by mid-morning Tuesday. The chances of a White Christmas are low, but rain is expected late on Christmas Day and into Tuesday, followed by colder temperatures. Cleveland has received 4.7 inches of snow this season, below the normal average of 7 inches.
