Unveiling the Mastermind Behind the Sculpted Fabric of Space and Time

Artist Ashley Zelinskie creates a sculpture at the Yerkes Observatory that represents the 4-dimensional fabric of space and time. The sculpture features a bronze star, a blue quartzite planet, and a marble moon, each with divots representing the warping of space-time caused by mass. The fourth cavity remains empty to symbolize the incomprehensible nature of a black hole.
