Mysterious New Species Discovered Under Ecuadorian Bridge

A new species of toad, named Rhinella bella or the beautiful cane toad, has been discovered in western Ecuador. Researchers identified the new species by its distinct physical features, call, skeletal structure, and DNA analysis, finding it to have a 4.5% genetic divergence from other cane toads. The beautiful cane toads have been found in various habitats and are known for their subjective beauty, in contrast to the Mesoamerican cane toad, whose scientific name means "horrible" in Latin.
