Wolf Moon Dwarfs the Paris Skyline in Stunning Night-Sky Composite

Photographer Martin Giraud created a dramatic composite of January's Wolf Moon rising behind Paris' Eiffel Tower and Sacré‑Cœur, illustrating a near‑perigee supermoon that appears unusually large against a sunset-lit sky. The image was built from long-lens frames (Canon 6D with a telephoto lens, around 500mm) shot from several kilometers away, capturing Rayleigh‑scattering hues and visible lunar features, with the skyline silhouettes providing a striking context.
