Tom Hanks Inspires Artemis 2 Moon Astronauts and NASA Mission Control

Actor Tom Hanks, known for his role as an astronaut in the movie "Apollo 13," visited the Artemis 2 crew, a group of real-life astronauts training for a round-the-moon mission. Hanks also toured Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center and spoke with astronauts aboard the International Space Station. The Artemis 2 crew is part of NASA's efforts to restart human moon exploration and will be joined by international partners under the Artemis Accords.
