"Vulcan Rocket's Debut Delayed to Late 2023 Due to Fireball and Upper Stage Failure"

United Launch Alliance (ULA) has announced a delay in the debut of its new heavy-lift rocket, the Vulcan Centaur, to late 2023. The delay is due to the need for recertification of the Centaur upper stage following an explosion during testing in March. ULA CEO Tory Bruno stated that the development of the rocket is essentially complete, and a recent explosion of a Blue Origin BE-4 engine will not affect Vulcan Centaur's first mission. The Vulcan Centaur is a methane-fueled rocket that will replace ULA's Atlas V and Delta IV rockets.
