SpaceX successfully launched its Starship Falcon 9 rocket from its Texas facility, reaching orbital velocity before losing communication and exploding upon reentry over the Indian Ocean. The rocket, designed for Mars and moon missions, is the world's largest, measuring 30 feet wide and nearly 400 feet tall.
