Apple's renewable energy efforts continue to expand and aim for carbon neutrality by 2030.

Apple announced that more of its suppliers are committing to using renewable energy in producing the company's products, with suppliers supporting 13 gigawatts of active renewable energy projects, up from 10 gigawatts last year. Apple's own operations have been carbon-neutral since 2020, and the company has been working to extend that promise to its entire global supply chain by 2030. 250 of Apple's suppliers have pledged to use renewable energy for Apple production, representing about 85% of Apple's direct manufacturing spending.
