Casio Turns Ring Fashion Into Health Tech With CRW-H001

Casio unveiled the CRW-H001 smart ring, turning its ring watch into a health-tracking wearable with heart-rate, sleep and blood-oxygen sensors, a tiny LCD display, and vibration notifications. It comes in small/medium/large sizes, weighs 19 g, and delivers about six days of active use (25 days in standby); Casio rates the battery life at roughly two years before replacement. Data syncs to Casio’s companion app and it can log running, walking, and cycling. The device is currently sold in China for ¥1,990 (~$294), with no confirmed global release yet.
