TL;DR

Light’s Light Flip is a $299 minimalist flip phone meant as a distraction-free second device to unplug from smartphones. It runs LightOS on a 2.8-inch non-touch screen with a physical keypad, has no NFC, and supports third‑party apps via an SDK; available outright or as a $39/month plan with ownership after 24 months. The goal is to deliver a device that isn’t a smartphone and encourages deliberate, limited use while letting users own their software.
