The Verge’s hands-on with the Sharge Disk Pro 2 praises a compact USB-C hub that doubles as a 4K HDMI dock and supports up to 8TB M.2 SSDs, plus SD/microSD readers, USB-A, and 80W USB‑C PD — effectively turning a laptop, phone, or Switch into a multi‑display, multi‑storage setup. It uses built‑in magnets to attach to devices, has a detachable cable, and improved airflow, but the Ultra model’s low power draw (3W to the SSD) can cause shutdown under big transfers or ProRes recording unless you add external power; Nintendo Switch 2 docking also needs a strong charger. Still, it’s the first Sharge drive I’d actually carry in my bag.
