Animal Crossing's latest update revives a pandemic-era island sanctuary
TL;DR
With a major update and Switch 2 upgrade, Animal Crossing: New Horizons draws the author back to Alba, reviving pandemic-era nostalgia through a pirate-kappa hotel, easier terraforming with L, a Mr. Resetti service to wipe the island, farming and cooking recipes, and new Slumber Islands to enjoy with friends, underscoring the game's soothing pace and enduring community-driven charm.
