Fallout 76 PS5 Upgrade Goes Free for PS Plus Essential Members

PS Plus Essential players will soon be able to claim Fallout 76’s free PS5 upgrade. After earlier reporting that only PS4 owners or PS Plus Extra/Premium members could upgrade at no extra cost, the PS5 version becomes available to eligible Essential members starting September 25 at 10:00 a.m. ET / 7:00 a.m. PT for those who previously claimed the title. The upgrade includes PS5 improvements such as 60 FPS, improved draw distances and shadows, 4K resolution on compatible displays, VRR, and 1440p support on PS5 Pro/PS4 Pro while older consoles stay at 1080p.
