Fallout 76 opens World Pets test server to let CAMP pets roam Appalachia

Bethesda launches a World Pets Public Test Server (Pspsps-TS) for Fallout 76, allowing players with Steam to trial traveling with CAMP pets. The first phase focuses on pet navigation with no combat, and pets can be summoned via a new Pip-Boy Stats tab. Pets cannot enter raids, shelters, or swim, and progress on the PTS won’t carry over to live game. A second Pspsps-TS phase will later test combat and the full update. The patch also includes extensive weapon, perk, and legendary-mod changes, with unique items gaining more customization. Note: C.A.M.P. building is temporarily disabled at the start of the PTS as fixes are tested.

Fallout 76 Infestations Inject Emergent Co-op Chaos Across Appalachia

Bethesda previews Fallout 76: Infestations, a new dynamic activity that overhauls 40 outdoor locations with roaming faction bosses, creating emergent co-op chaos across Appalachia. Infestations appear as you explore and can be joined by nearby teammates; each boss has a unique weapon and a random Mutation. Up to five infestations can run simultaneously on a server, spawning every 10 minutes, with players chasing 4-star Legendary loot drawn from a common pool plus content-specific items like the Vector Armor Mod and Tarnished Weapon Mod. Loot and difficulty scale from level 50 to 200, supporting both solo and group play, and infestations despawn after 5 hours if ignored. Interiors may come later as the map refreshes, emphasizing a living, iterative world.
