Master Collection Vol. 2 unlocks Switch 2’s 60fps and 4K potential

Konami released a detailed frame-rate and resolution breakdown for Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2. On Nintendo Switch 2, MGS4 and related content push up to 60fps with high-res options (up to 4K when docked for MGS4; 1080p handheld), while Nintendo Switch 1 is limited to around 30fps and 720p handheld / 1080p docked in some modes. Peace Walker runs at 1080p on Switch 2 and 720p on Switch 1. Switch 2 also introduces image-mode options (Original/Adjusted for certain titles). The collection launches August 27, 2026.
