Prada and Axiom Space Unveil Luxurious Cooling Layer for Moon Suits

Prada and Axiom Space unveiled the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment (LCVG), a form-fitting inner layer for the AxEMU spacesuit that uses cooling tubes and ventilation to keep astronauts comfortable during lunar EVAs. Built with advanced 3D modeling, the LCVG complements the exterior AxEMU and aims to improve safety and performance on Artemis missions. In-flight testing is planned for Artemis 3 in 2027, with potential demonstrations on the International Space Station, signaling a move toward a more capable and stylish lunar program.
