SpaceX's Starlink V2 Satellites Encounter Technical Difficulties

Elon Musk confirmed that some of SpaceX's newly launched Starlink V2 Mini satellites will have to be deorbited and destroyed in the Earth's atmosphere due to issues with the new technology. The remaining units will stay in space for further testing. The V2 Minis are miniaturized versions of SpaceX's full-sized, next-generation Starlinks, meant to help increase the capacity of its internet megaconstellation.
