DJI unveils budget Lito drones under $400 in Europe

DJI announced its entry-level Lito 1 and Lito X1 drones, both under 249 grams to avoid registration in many countries, with European pricing starting at €339 (~$397) for the Lito 1 and €419 (~$490) for the Lito X1. They come with a screenless RC-N3 controller that uses a smartphone display and cannot be piloted from a phone like the DJI Neo; the X1 adds a forward lidar sensor for better obstacle avoidance. Top speeds are ~27 mph (boostable to ~40 mph), with about 36 minutes of flight time. The Lito X1 has a 48 MP sensor and 10-bit D-LogM, plus 42GB built-in storage, while the Lito 1 uses microSD. US availability hasn’t been announced yet.
