Saturn's Iconic Rings to Vanish by 2025, NASA Confirms

Saturn's iconic rings, composed of icy particles and rock fragments, will appear to vanish from public view in 2025 due to an optical illusion caused by the planet's tilt. As Saturn moves away from Earth, its axis will assume a vertical position, making the rings appear as a thin horizontal strip parallel to Earth. This phenomenon will last until 2032 when the underside of the rings will be revealed. The rings are believed to be pieces of comets and asteroids torn apart by Saturn's gravity and extend up to 282,000 kilometers from the planet.
