"Upcoming Total Solar Eclipse: Prime Viewing Locations and Stunning Phases Captured"
TL;DR
While many Americans enjoyed the "ring of fire" solar eclipse on Saturday, an even more spectacular total solar eclipse is set to occur on April 8, 2024. This upcoming eclipse will bring midday darkness to areas from Mazatlan, Mexico, to Newfoundland, allowing observers to witness the sun's atmosphere, known as the solar corona. The path of totality will cross over parts of Mexico, Texas, the Ohio Valley, and southeast Canada. Travel arrangements should be made in advance, as hotel prices are already surging and campgrounds are selling out.
